Fleece Fabric!

Fleece fabric has many uses from apparel to plushies/props, and even fursuits! It is also the fabric typically used in kigurumi/kigu onesies.
Fleece comes in a few types; polar/blizzard fleece and anti-pill fleece are the two most common. Anti-pill fleece is uniformly pre-pilled, while blizzard fleece starts smooth and pills over time. Both fleeces can be used for similar projects, but may have weight and texture variations if mixed in a project.
It’s a bit less expensive than minky or fur, and very forgiving due to it’s stretch and texture. If you’ve never sewn anything before, I think fleece is a GREAT option to start with!
